The All Stars Cricket initiative from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is aimed at 5-8 year olds and is designed to give them their first experience of cricket and hopefully build a new generation of life long cricket fans.
All Stars Cricket is a national project with over 120 Clubs in Lancashire taking part in a specially designed 8-week programme this summer. The 2019 programmes begin from Friday 10th May.
Over the 8 weeks, children will learn the key skills of cricket (Batting, Bowling, and Fielding) as well other key life skills such as Teamwork. The programme is designed to allow every child to succeed at their own level.
The programme delivers the School Curriculum of the 12 fundamental movement skills a child needs in their physical development.
Every child who signs up for the programme will receive their own kit bag delivered to their home including:
- A Bat and Ball
- Personalised T-Shirt
- Activity Book
