Welcome
to St James CE Primary School
St James’ is a very successful and happy school which is built on Christian beliefs and values.
We are a one form entry Church of England Primary school with an intake of 30 children each September.
We are proud to be part of the Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust, a family of schools that welcomes young people of all faiths and none, working together to provide an excellent education built on distinctly Christain values. (More information and a link to the Trust website can be found via the ‘About Us’ section of this webpage).
We are currently partnered with another LDST school in St Helens - Parish CE Primary School - which allows us to share, collaborate, learn and support both staff and pupils in unique and exciting ways.
Our dedicated and dynamic team work extremely hard to ensure that all of our children are able to learn in an inclusive, safe and secure environment. We strive to provide a high-quality education, which enables each child to realise their full potential. We value strong partnerships with parents, governors, the Church and the local community and work closely with them to ensure that our children leave school as well rounded individuals with the highest of aspirations for their future.
At St James’, our expectations in terms of standards and behaviour are high and this makes our school a calm and purposeful place to learn. We are proud of our many achievements including our commitment to providing a plethora of cultural experiences and extra-curricular activities to all of our pupils.
We also have both a Breakfast and After School Club which can be accessed by all.
We are incredibly proud of our school and hope that our website will give you a real insight in to what makes St James’ such a special place.
If you would like more information about the school please do not hesitate to contact us to make an appointment to visit and see for yourselves. You can also obtain a paper copy of information on this website from our school office.
